Why 67% of People Quit Their Wellness Goals by March (And How We’re Fixing That)

It’s January 8th, 2025. If you made a New Year’s resolution about health, fitness, or wellness, statistically you have about 83 days left before you quit.

That’s not meant to discourage you. It’s a fact that’s been bothering us since we launched Sakwora planner last September.

The Real Problem Isn’t Willpower

We’ve been talking to our community, all of you who’ve joined us in the past four months, and here’s what we keep hearing:

“I don’t know who to trust anymore. Every influencer says something different.”

“I’m juggling seven different apps and I still can’t stick to anything.”

“I need people doing this WITH me, not just telling me what to do.”

Sound familiar?

The wellness industry has given us more information than ever before. More apps. More influencers. More “proven methods.” And yet, we’re more confused and isolated than ever.

What Actually Works: People Trust People

Here’s something we’ve learned from five years of research and four months of watching our community: peer recommendations convert 4 times better than algorithm-driven suggestions.

Not because algorithms are bad. But because when someone like you, with your schedule, your budget, your real life, shares what actually worked for them, you pay attention.

When they cite credible sources (actual dermatology journals, clinical studies, not just “trust me bro”), you trust it.

When they’re part of your community, holding each other accountable, you stick with it.

The Five Pillars Nobody Talks About Together

Most wellness apps focus on one thing: fitness, or meditation, or budgeting, or meal planning.

But your life doesn’t work in silos. Your stress affects your sleep. Your sleep affects your productivity. Your productivity affects your money. Your money affects your stress.

We’ve built Sakwora around five integrated pillars:

  • Mind (mental wellness, stress management)
  • Time (productivity, life organization)
  • Health (fitness, nutrition, preventive care)
  • Money (budgeting, financial wellness)
  • Vision (goals, purpose, long-term planning)

Because sustainable healthy living requires all five working together, not independently.

What We’re Building Next

Since September, we’ve been validating this approach with our community. You’ve downloaded our Complete Life Organization System. You’ve asked us: “How do I stick to this?”

That question led us to build something bigger.

We’re creating a platform where real people share what actually works, products they use, methods they’ve tried, habits that stuck, with cited, credible sources. Where you can find your crew of people working toward similar goals. Where wellness experts can share their knowledge and earn fairly for it.

It’s social commerce for trusted healthy living. And we’re building it in Dubai, to solve a global problem.

We’re Just Getting Started

This week, we’re competing in the Dubai Create Apps Championship to bring this vision to life. Not because we’re chasing awards, but because we’re chasing a future where healthy living isn’t this hard.

Where you don’t need to juggle seven apps.
Where you don’t drown in conflicting advice.
Where you have real people, trusted recommendations, and everything integrated.

Your Turn

We want to hear from you: What made you quit your last wellness goal? What would actually help you stick to it?

Drop a comment below or email us at contact@sakwora.com. We’re building this for you, literally. Your feedback shapes what we create next.

Here’s to making it past March this time. Together.
